Name label

One of our active discussion threads in the Forum asks the question: What is the name of the American Horror Story fandom. After all, megahit series have their Gleeks and Whovians, Browncoats, and of course Trekkers. For some, we are content to be called "AHS Fans". Others want something a bit more daring. So, let's put this issue to rest. Put your nominations in the forum thread. We have many already. Next week, when Go to Hell broadcasts, this blog post will host a poll for the most fitting choices.

Ground rules:

  •  These have to be safe to repost in the media. So, no plays on Arden's favorite word or AHSholes. Horricans and Horrifics have been suggested, and should work just fine so long as they don't end up with a "W" on the front.
  • They should apply to all of the stories, and those in future. (Fans of each individual story, you can still call yourselves Spirits, Inmates, Witches, or Supremes, etc. We won't judge.)
  • Ideally, these should be able to be used in the international communities also. So, one should be able to be a British or French or Brazilian Whatever.

All set? Let's see how creative we can be!

UPDATE: Current nominations include Horricans, Horrifics, Horrorstruck, Sthorrytellers, Horror Heads, Horror Freaks, American Horrors, AHSians, Amerihorrics, Horroricans, and Horrorstorians.

What should we, the American Horror Story fandom, call ourselves?

The poll was created at 23:17 on January 22, 2014, and so far 270 people voted.
