What evidence do you have that showing up in the credits guarantees a character page on this wiki? It should be quite obvious to anyone that has spent time here that such pages are not welcome. Even more obvious to anyone that has bothered to read the guidelines.

    • Why Mr.Wu page must be delete ?

        Loading editor
    • Mr. Wu: Because he has very little character development, and it's difficult to fill even a paragraph about him, let alone a page. It would probably worth it to us to have a mini section for him, and MAYBE the Lumberjack, and a thumbnail gallery of the "residents and staff" on Hotel Cortez

    • sorry for the intrusion but I have a question : it would be possible to create a page for the Devil's Night killers? Right now they are described with mini paragraphs for each of them in the episode of the same name, I thought if it were possible to move those contents into a single new page (not a page for each of them) because unlike Mr. Evers or Mr.Wu (who are already listed in Miss Evers and Vandela/Agnetha pages as "related characters") I think they have a little more importance ... definitely more importance than the Handsome dude D:

That is an interesting organizational question. Typically, I'd associate that as an event (like R. Franklin/Murders or Westfield High/Massacre or Leigh Emerson/Christmas Spree Killings). Though he's the organizer, it doesn't really fit with James March; it occurs in multiple episodes, so that won't (and wouldn't) do. Hotel Cortez/Devil's Night Dinner Party would be my most likely pick for an article location. Describe the setting and setup, as well as the guests. Mr Evers doesn't even rate a section on Miss Evers. And drop the Mr; that section would be "Wu".

So, here is the only time I think Handsome Man MIGHT have an appropriate SECTION: if that actor appears in future seasons as a recurring cast member. And that's iffy, at best.

    • Perfect, an event page like this fully meets the idea I had in mind!

Because it's not the kind of article topic we do around here. At best, that's a Category, not an article topic. However, since there's nothing notable to be said about Recurring Characters as a whole (AHS:SIGNIFICANT), it doesn't really qualify for that either.

    • Perhaps it would be good to eliminate "Bridget and Miranda Jane " page since there are pages for each of the two characters, or decide whether to keep the single pages or the shared page, since different users continue to update now one and now the other pages, creating confusion.

So far they've acted as a unit. They haven't really developed separate personalities. Previously I've leaned towards separate pages in hopes that there'd be more individuality, but as this plotline has incubated I see little problem with just lumping them together into a single article.

        Loading editor
    • for me is the same, given the flag that suggested merge with separate pages I suggested to eliminate the shared page, but as you says they always acted together. Just suggesting to decide which one to keep so we don't have pages with identical content.

    • Let's go ahead and merge them into a single article, then.

    • Quentin Fleming shouldn't be deleted, he is as important as every other character in Coven.

        Loading editor
    • His page is a candidate for deletion because he's already listed here among the Councilors, so that page would be a duplicate. Minor characters with very little info about are generally grouped according to a specific event or place (i.e. Westfield High/Massacre; Fräulein Elsa's Cabinet of Curiosities), as "Featured Characters" in the single episode they appeared on (i.e. Tricks and Treats#Featured Characters) or as "Associated Characters" when they only interected with said character (i.e. F.W.Murnau, Rita Gayheart).

Speaking of, what about Milo, Todd Allan Connors and Sophie Green? The content is almost the same in these three articles and the two boys have even less relevance than several of the "freaks" from season 4.

    • Mr. Guinea should not be deleted as he is a crucial character in the development in the Cult storyline. In addtion, it would be extremely to the recently deceased guinea pig, have a little respect for those who have passed on.

Mr Guinea did not have a "crucial" role in the storyline. And characters, human or not, that are only in a single episode rarely are significant enough for full articles.

    • That page is full of nonsense, and it's unnecessary. Speaking of it should we move Serena Belinda to 11/9 Featured Character?

        Loading editor
    • "Crucial" is relative, to you, maybe he was just another guinea pig but to me and to the other fans of Mr. Guinea he was a very important and loved character, and absolutely significant enough for a single page. You take yourselves too seriously here, unlike Mr. Guinea, who's light-hearted soul touched the hearts of millions.

      Yes, indeed.

    • I'll see if I can come up with something without distorting the content already added by other fans. Is it ok if Bob Thompson is an Associated Character to Beverly Hope? He appeared twice.

      Cute rationale, but no. AHS:SIGNIFICANT

We'll be seeing more of Bob, as he's mentioned in other episodes as well. I suspect he'll have a full article before the end. R.J. is associated with 11-9 also.

    • Oh, I must have missed that part about him! Okay, with R.J. it should be easier to have a paragraph ready in less time.

    • The Stevie Nicks page shouldn't be deleted because she is an important character that appeared in 2 episodes of Coven and was often referenced throughout the season in multiple episodes.

You've hit the nail on the head. 2 episodes. Also, this is the "fictional" version of Stevie Nicks, not to be confused with the real world person. Therefore, it's still a valid deletion.

    • Isn't she already listed as a featured character on The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks?

    • Yes, and that's where her shiny new redirect goes.

        Loading editor
    • I remembered having seen her somewhere. Agree, doesn't seem worthy of a whole page with that little content.

Speaking of, reading old conversations here, we agreed to move Serena Belinda to the single episode she appeared in as per Significance policy. Apologies, I thought I did that.
