Nope, not at all. Her eyes are lighter because she's surrounded by lights in that close up, she was just warning Lana about the consequences of a really driven ambition.
it's kind of interesting you say about the devil, did anyone feel as though Lana's character completely changed after she got famous? Of course it was apart of the written plot, but I thought she became much, much colder. Maybe the devil left the nun's body and somehow got to Lana's.
Either way I wanted to ask what people thought about Lana killing her son in the end. I thought the whole point she had him was to stop all the killing and bad things in the world, then she just decides to trick him and kill him, probably what his father would've done. He was really a good person it seemed in the end, he just was confused why his mother left him. When he put the gun down and cried I thought that meant he really didn't want to kill those people he just thought he had to. Then she killed him like a complete sociopath, like bloodyface was.
We know the demon did not go into Lana because the Angel of Death established that she would take the demon. Plus Lana wasn't even in the Asylum so why would the demon jump to her of all people, when she was miles away in some unknown part of the city at the time?
Lana transformation makes perfect sense, considering all she went through. She became cold and calculating because she had too, it's what helped her survive.
She killed johnny, because he was so far gone. She didn't kill him like a sociopath - the sociopath was Johnny, who was killing people without remorse or concern. She took him out because it was the only thing she could do for him. the sirens where ringing outside her home, he was either going to be killed by the law or killed by her - she chose the latter.
Outside of their biological connection, Johnny was not really her son - he was thredson's who forced his seed into lana via rape. To expect her to consider him her beloved son and to coddle and sympathize with him is an overly sentimental standard to hold women too. Most women do not keep their product of rape - she was kind enough to not abort him, but she aborted him I would not blame her for it. It's very traumatic experience to be raped - but to also be traumatize, humiliated, and tormented by your Rapist is a level even higher than that. This is again why she became so cold. So her character change was well handled and consistent with her story arch.
uhhh, there wern't sirens ringing outside her home, that was threadson's home when she killed him sirens were ringing...after I posted that I found my own answer...She killed Johnny the same way she escaped from threadson if you remember, she tricked him into them thinking she cared about him, and then killed him. If you don't think a sociopath would do that, than your an idiot. Besides that I can tell you dont know what your talking about. If she was COLD, then why would she keep her rape baby? and it IS her son you idiot...lol. The character contradicts itself in the end. EVERY TV show does it. I guess this is your favorite show and you dont wanna hear anyone say something is wrong about it, but its true. She becomes a cold hearted bitch at the end of the season. And it was never explained why!!

The devil is no longer on Earth. When Sister Mary was thrown down the stairway, she looked at the Angel of Death and said "take me away" (or something like that), and the Angel said "I'm taking you both" and gave her the kiss. The Angel of Death left with both Mary Eunice and the devil within her.
Lana didn't have an abortion because there'd been enough death around her already. She didn't keep the baby because she wanted him to have a CHANCE. She gave him up for adoption not only because she could hardly stand raising him (hard to blame her, he's the product of multiple rapes), but also because she wanted to give that kid a chance to grow up and be something else than Bloody Face's son. When Lana realized that she had failed to prevent Bloody Face 2.0 from being born, she decided to end this whole story on her own.
She didn't kill him as a sociopath. She killed him because he had to be stopped, because she felt that the monster he was was all her fault. Also let's not forget that she took the gun from HIM. HE intended to kill her. HE was a sociopath. Who's to say he wouldn't have shot Lana if she hadn't taken the gun from him and killed her?
She didn't become a cold-hearted bitch. She thoughened up.
She tricked them both because it was all she could do to SURVIVE in both situations. She hit their one weak point - their longing for a mother's love - and used it against them to survive. Thredson was going to put her out when she tricked him and escaped, and Johnny was gonig to shoot her when she talked him into giving her the gun and shot him.
Lana is a survivor. No more, no less.
