mCcNc97  In Season 1: Episode 3, Nora  walks around the house, calling for Dr. Montgomery and finds him in the basement, sewing what looks like bat wings to a pig's body.  He yells at her that he’s working, and she’s upset because he’s made them five minutes late for dinner. He is angry and rips the wings off of the pig.  So he was into "arts and crafts" before Thaddus was kidnapped.

In a discussion after work (the ole Friday night watering hole talk) someone suggested that Bartholomew's face could be the work of Dr. Montgomery's attempt to abort the child, but since the child was already a vampire, he wouldn't die and attacked the first food sourse he saw, the nurse.  OK, but . . . when Elizabeth turned Tristan the scar on his face disappered, so why won't Bartholomew's face heal?

So, who's the "baby daddy"?

Episode 7 "Flicker" gave us Elizabeth's back story, as well as a time line.  I'm going to stick with my story that Elizabeth was human when she got pregnant.  Bartholomew's biological father has to be James Marsh.  Elizabeth's thought to be dead lovers Natacha and Rudolph are alive, they want to "change" her so she can be with them forever and the three would travel the world. She goes to Dr. Montgomery to rid herself of Marsh's child. Too late Bartholomew has changed as well.  In the meantime, Marsh has locked away Valentino and Natacha,  leaving Elizabeth to believe they abandoned her.
