Robin Weigert was born on July 7, 1969 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. She is an American actress of German Jewish origin.
So far she appeared twice in American Horror Story as guest star. In the second season of the series, Asylum, she portrayed Cynthia Potter, the mother of a young boy possessed by the devil. In Roanoke, she portrays the real Mama Polk, a woman at the head of a family of cannibals.
