In the 1920s Elizabeth probably met Gibby on the set of a movie since they were both dreaming of being famous actresses. They soon became best friends. Margaret got an invitation to James March's party during the opening week of the Hotel Cortez and brought Elizabeth with her where she first met March. Gibby also told Elizabeth about Charles Montgomery who performed abortion on her.

Oposite of young Elizabeth, Gibby is careless of the welfare and you can hardly impress her. She has a light brown hair and green eyes. She is somekind interested in gossip and likes to read lifestyle magazines and newspapers.
