Kamilla Alnes (born December 25) is a Norwegian model and actress. She is best known for her recurring role as Vendela in the fifth season of American Horror Story, subtitled Hotel.

Background

Kamilla Alnes was born and raised in Ålesund, Norway. Alnes moved away from Ålesund in 2009 to live and work in Paris, Milan, and London before settling in Los Angeles to pursue an acting career alongside her modeling work.

Career

In 2007, Alnes was a contestant on Top Model Norge (the Norwegian variant of the American's Next Top Model format), which she went on to win. Alnes later signed with Wilhelmina Model and Talent Management. Since then, she has modeled for a number of brands in Fashion Lookbooks and more. Alnes has most recently appeared in the Adidas Neo Spring/Summer 2016 campaign. She has worked as an extra on Jane The Virgin and had roles in short films such as New To This Town (2012), Heat In Vegas (2012), Don't Tell Mom and Dad (2015), and the music video for Did It Again (2015) by CLMD Music. Alnes landed her first role in a major production when she was offered the role of Vendela alongside Helena Mattsson in the fifth season of American Horror Story.

Since then, Alnes has played the part of Rosie in the TV movie The Monroes (2016) and a tourist in Dave Made a Maze (2016). She is currently undergoing filming in England for the sitcom TV series I Live With Models.

According to IMDB, Alnes is also rumored to appear in the futuristic horror flick Streaming, currently due to be released in 2018.
