Greetings, Horrorstorians! You may have noticed some changes in articles over the last few days. Under the hood, Wikia has made some new tools available (including a very powerful language for building templates) and ours is one of the first wikias to be able to implement them. Our Infoboxes are one of the first items to be able to benefit from the changes, and I've been redesigning them to work more powerfully. Some of the syntax for using them has changed. For existing pages: FlufferBot, our resident software bot, will be guided through altering existing templates where possible. This is not a foolproof process, and there may be some issues along the way.
Why change things? There will be a massive improvement in speed, and the new article…Read more >

Who am I? I am a "backseat driver." I am the one who makes the masterpiece. The one who develops the masterpiece. The one who thought of the masterpiece. The one who is the perfect definition of that masterpiece. I am the masterpiece. I am one of the one's who wasn't there from the beginning but the beginning of the end. When death occurred in Miss Robichaux's Academy I found it stupid. For example when Madison's throat was slit. How is it that Spaulding, being all the way in the attic heard the argument going on downstairs and not the rest of the girls. Also when Nan was killed, Zoe was just A few rooms down and she couldn't hear Fiona and Marie struggling with trying to drown Nan, and it didn't occur to her where Nan had gone since they were just having a conversation prior to her hearing the baby. Then there is Marie's death. I know she died in the green house and one would think they wouldn't hear her, but then there is Queenie assault by the Minotaur to prove it wrong. After Fiona killed Madison, she managed to hear glass shatter all the way from the …Read more >

In 2008, I had a brief residential stay in New Orleans. It was fall, and I believe I was also there on Halloween. The weird part is, I could feel the ghostly muck in the air, from centuries of social life and activities that have occurred there. Much to my surprise, I did not have any paranormal experience there, but I could feel "presence". I tried to take myself on ghost tours. I did research and I only found about 3-5 noteworthy "Ghost" stories.
- The LaLaurie Legacy
- The LaVeau Legacy
- The Axeman Legacy
I did as much research about these stories as I could find back then. I became a little angry that it seemed LaLaurie never received true reprimand (that we know of) for her actions. A few times I took myself to the French Quarter but…Read more >
So I'm going through, re-watching the episodes, since I bought them on Google Play. And I noticed something on the Bitchcraft episode at the very end, that wasn't really covered in the next episode. It's night time, or at least dark hours, and Fiona tells Delphine to "come on" and offers to buy her a drink. She's in one of those 1800's ass ballgown type dresses, that could have been considered casual back then, but the color was putrid and I'm certain that her body odor was also. The next episode when we see Delphine again, she is wearing the same nasty dress, and it's daytime. AND she is chained to a chair with something covering her mouth to prevent her from screaming.
This is one of those "holes" that will forever go unanswered, unle…Read more >

The Seven Wonders in the show seemed kind of weak, not something a Supreme can use to lead a coven with. I thought about what should have been the 7 wonders, or at least what I think it should be. I used some of the show's powers because I think they are quite significant.
1.Divination- It's not the Sight, but it's like a vibe, they know what is going to happen, where things are. A Supreme needs this power to "forsee" the bad events.
2.Concilium- It's a cool power to have. Since Supremes are Salem Witches and the Salem Witches were just playing around with magic so it would make sense if they adopted mind control and play around with people's head. I also think it was pretty badass for Fiona to control the cops in episode 2.
3.Pyrokinesis- It…Read more >

If you look at descendum, travelling to (your) hell could be a pretty pointless power but if you look at it in another way, I think it's a power to travel around Hell and find spirits and souls. Like how Queenie went to Hell to talk to Papa Legba.
And everyone you see in Hell is actually dead too, forever living in the scene. Like the man in Queenie's Hell who "forever smells the delicious chicken but unable to take a bite" or Marie Laveau is forever stuck in LaLaurie's Hell. I think Descedum allows the witch to travel to Hell and find these soulsRead more >

Okay so, now that we know what the Seven Wonders are, I thought it would be good to have a table listing each of the witches that might (or might have) become the next Supreme.
Note that this table is meant to include what we have seen BEFORE Coven's Finale, since in the last episode we might see all of these witches performing all of the Seven Wonders, or at least many of them. This table is just listing what we have seen so far, and will not include anything seen during the episode "The Seven Wonders".

Ever since American Horror Story was discovered to be an anthology of stories, people have been dreaming up all new stories for future seasons. While a fun exercise, there are some reasons to use caution before posting them here. One is that this Wiki does not condone Fan Fiction.
- The first and foremost of which is that you can't call it "American Horror Story: " anything. That's a trademark, and we're subject to legal action if you do.
- You can't use any characters in common with the series (which isn't all that difficult, given the nature of the show).
- You can get away with saying it's inspired by AHS, and that you are writing these stories with a certain actor / actress in mind. You can even include art of your characters that have a liken…

One of our active discussion threads in the Forum asks the question: What is the name of the American Horror Story fandom. After all, megahit series have their Gleeks and Whovians, Browncoats, and of course Trekkers. For some, we are content to be called "AHS Fans". Others want something a bit more daring. So, let's put this issue to rest. Put your nominations in the forum thread. We have many already. Next week, when Go to Hell broadcasts, this blog post will host a poll for the most fitting choices.
- These have to be safe to repost in the media. So, no plays on Arden's favorite word or AHSholes. Horricans and Horrifics have been suggested, and should work just fine so long as they don't end up with a "W" on the front.
- They should…

This blog is not a repeat for future themes persay, but is instead a blog to ask what you would like to see in the next or future seasons such as actors and sub-themes (but non-specific to the overall theme). I would personally not want to see a Taissa and Evan love story again as it has already been done twice. But, I would like to see an increased male cast as I've felt Coven has been a very matriachal season. Actor wise, I would love to see Winona Ryder or Christina Ricci on the show. We will soon need a new actor to take the main role as Jessica Lange departs (and is stated to not have the main role in Season 4), so someone along the lines of Anjelica Huston (her brother Danny is already on it) or Mia Farrow would be good, both with de…Read more >

We have a tough two weeks to get through, but to help ease the hiatus here are some very juicy things to look forward to and speculate about.
A new Supreme will be chosen Coven's Jan. 29 finale, which reveals Fiona's (Jessica Lange) successor, will unfold a tad differently from previous AHS conclusions. It usually is a very nihilistic ending. But this year is different because it's an incredibly dark-comedy ending, which I like, says Murphy, who teases, Nobody has guessed who the Supreme is.
We know that Marie Laveau (Angela Bassett) hired Cordelia's husband, Hank (Josh Hamilton), to kill off the Salem bloodline. But Hank is actually just one of many witch hunters. He's part of a group called the Corporation that has been around since Eu…

Let's put this to rest. I felt like this tidbit given by Ryan was important enough to warrant a reworking of all our theories.
"A new Supreme will be chosen Coven’s Jan. 29 finale, which reveals Fiona’s (Jessica Lange) successor, will unfold a tad differently from previous AHS conclusions. ”It usually is a very nihilistic ending. But this year is different because it’s an incredibly dark-comedy ending, which I like,” says Murphy, who teases, ”Nobody has guessed who the Supreme is.”

He's obviously referring to Zoe. Every single review site, fan site, and social media outlet has marked heras the next supreme and this was Ryan's answer to those assertions.Read more >
Ryan Murphy - "As American Horror Story: Coven begins to wrap up its bold and brilliant season, fans are starting to wonder what next year will be like. Co-creator Ryan Murphy tells EW that he will begin dropping hints about season 4 around episode 11, but he will say that, “It’s not contemporary.” He adds: “It’s either going to shoot in New Orleans or it’s going to shoot in Santa Fe.”
One thing viewers definitely won’t see is a rumored spin-off of Coven. Murphy told reporters earlier this fall that he and FX had discussed an AHS spin-off, centered on this season. But that project is dead as of now. Reveals Murphy, “We were starting to break episode 8 or 9 and we…Read more >
I'm in love with this show. I think the best of it is that it is an anthology, with 13-episodes seasons. You can't get bored! Every story (Murder House, Asylum, Coven) is amazing. I can't choose one as my favorite.
Murder House was a great, twisted, bloody story. Jessica Lange's character was outstanding (my favourite Jessica's character until now). Connie was amazing too - I want her back!
Asylum was awesome too. It was definitely Sarah Paulson's season.
Coven is a good season but it has a slow storyline. The cast is the best cast a show ever had, no doubt. I hope the season improves!Read more >
So far, one of the biggest mysteries on the show has been who is the next Supreme, so I have created a table to see who is in the running.
Cordelia Foxx Unknown/infertile/possibly eligible 50%
Madison Montgomery Ineligible/heart murmur 0%
Nan Unknown/Down syndrome/possibly eligible 50%
Queenie Unknown/obesity/possible eligible 50%
Zoe Benson Eligible 75%
Hank Foxx Unknown status/possibly eligible 45%
Luke Ramsey Unknown status/possibly eligible 45%
Misty Day Eligible 75%
With this table, Madison is out of the running, due to her heart murmur. Two people I have added to the table based on comments I saw before are Hank and Luke, though their chances are not high as those of Queenie, Cordelia and Nan, who I have put as possibly eligible, …

I had to write my own blog because after reading most of these forums about the next surpreme, I was getting annoyed because the predictions were awful.
Firstly if anyone knows RM, they would know he is a writer that lives for Gag Factor and Shock value. What ever you think you watched could always be muniplulated into a brand new storyline. The man loves his back stories!!!! But my oppinion on the new surpreme are as follows.
Queenie -- It was stated that Queenie is a desendent of Titchba, and later explained in that episode that Titchuba was from an tribe....a long line or powerful voodoo shamans/necromancers who then as a house slave taught the girls of Salem witchcraft. So in actuality Queenie can not be the next surpreme because she do …

For anyone whose unfamiliar with this name, de la Barthe was one of the first witches burned in the Salem Witch Trials, having been accused of sex with the Devil that resulted in a monster with a wolf's head and snake's tail, which feasted on the flesh of human babies.
We already know that Queenie is a descendent of Tituba, who was also a witch from the Salem Witch Trial era, and that she made coitus with the Minotaur before being stabbed by it. Now that she's healed, she may end up pregnant with a similar child to de la Barthe.Read more >
In the past season's of American Horror Story we have seen a central theme. In "Murder House" the central theme was infidelity, and in "Asylum" it was sanity. I think "Coven's" theme will be resurrection. For example, a lot of the characters of this season have or will die and come back. Even one of the witches powers focuses on resurrection. Kyle and Misty have both died and came back. Delphine has even been resurrected in a way. Queenie was even resurrected a little. I think Madison is bound to come back too. I'm guessing Myrtle will be the witch burned in the upcoming episode and she is also bound to come back. There is too much for this to be a coincidence. What do my fellow fans think is the central theme of Coven?Read more >
As an avid TV consumer that hasn't owned a TV in nearly a decade I haven't had much trouble satisfying my desires through internet sources, legitimate and otherwise. However, with an increasing number of great shows I'm finding it difficult to keep up (not to mention avoiding penalties for exceeding my bandwidth limits). It has become necessary to prioritize.
These are the shows that I watch as soon as they're posted or the morning after. They include pretty much every original drama on HBO, Showtime, AMC and FX with an occasional visitor from the BBC.
These are shows that I watch regularly but without immediacy. They are often genre shows that I wish were better (Once Upon a Time) and shows that have slipped from the A List (Homeland).

Recently wikipedia listed Japanese actress of Kill Bill fame Chiaki Kuriyama as playing a character called Yoko Nagasaki in AHS Coven. This has since been taken down but is still listed among the actresses roles on wikipedia. I know this source is hardly the most reliable but I have seen her name mentioned on tumblr with regards to AHS. According to the above article it is very heavily implied that Madison returns is some way or another. After contemplating the below quote for a while... I have a hunch on what is going to happen. Possible Spoiler, but again this is merely speculation.
"While Roberts is coy about Madison’s fate on Coven, co-creator Ryan Murphy was slightly more revealing. “Well, I mean, yes, she is dead,” says Murphy. “The funny thing about a horror show to me is that anybody can die at any time. I love Jessica as much as the next guy, but this doesn't bother me. I think she had a good run and really helped AHS take flight. However, I think the show is strong enough to succeed on it's on merits as long as the cast remains talented and the stories fun and morbid.

Now I just read the full synopsis for Boy Parts and what I am about to write is my speculation on what is being hinted at...
So apparently in the first episode Madison and Zoe go to a frat party and by the end of the night they doing something horrible, or madison does at least.
In the synopis for the second episode Boy Parts, detectives visit the school to question the girls about the event that took place at the party and then it goes on to say that because Zoe helped Madison she ,in turn, makes Zoe the "perfect" boyfriend... the synopsis refers to him as a Frankenstein.
So my guess is that Madison kills a few frat boys at the party and this includes Kyle. In the next episode she resurrects Kyle for Zoe.

I have an idea for season 4. Lets face it AHS has hit major themes such as ghosts, asylums, and witchcraft. All great genres to do the show around but I believe it is time to go to the core of horror for this season. That being slasher film’s. There have been so many iconic movies such a Friday the 13th, Scream, ECT. I think this new season should take the time to perfect this kind of horror. It should revolve around a college town in which this can allow the older cast mates to be professors, and people living in the. This will also allow the younger cast to be students at the university. There can be back-stories and all the skeletons in their closets because it can revolve around the university over the years. Jessica Lange can be the d…Read more >
I just wanted to say that I loved the front page. I was just tired of seeing the white nun every where. It's wonderful, and in my opinion it has the perfect witchy tone. It's very diferent from the others and it seems more organized. It shows more mystery than the other versions of the front page and it shows more information at the same time. Anyways I loved it.
The only thing that kinda bothers me a little is Nan being marked as a main character(according to Murphy she isn't). Until we don't have almost anything about the main character missing (that I don't think will die in the scene showed at the promo), or any other character to put I think it's ok to put her(afterall I love Jamie as every one else).
