For the most part, I agree with you. I'm glad someone else is happy Violet froze Tate's ass for all of eternity too. However, I still personally believe Tate is indeed a psychopath- he knows what he's done, and he says he's sorry, but I personally don't believe a word of it. Knowing what you've done and admitting to it are very different things, and saying you're sorry for what you've done and actually feeling remorseful are two entirely different things. Personally, I thought Tate was never actually sorry for what he did- he was sorry for losing Violet, and he was sorry for himself, sorry he got caught and called on the carpet. Even with his upbringing by Constance factored in, and the possible influence of the house itself, it doesn't excuse or condone his behavior, it merely explains it. The fact that he's incredibly dangerous with a fierce love for a person (I do not doubt his feelings for Violet are genuine) is how his character was crafted by the writers- it glamorizes his actions and attempts to divert the reality of what he's done as well-intended, or even done out of love, when Tate's love for Violet is not the only component (or dominant) part of his character.

Has anyone else noticed how the people who even step foot in the house are cursed to death or despair? Two of Ben's patients are killed (Bianca and the guy afraid of urban legends) and the other one (Sally) ended up in a coma. Larry is burned over half of his body and imprisoned, Addie is hit by a car and killed, Constance is constantly losing people close to her and Leah was basically driven insane. The only ones who seem to have escaped any harm are Marcy and Luke, but even then, it may only be a matter of time.

Follow Michael's journey to destroying the world? There's really nothing left for that family that isn't already very predictable.
